Singing beggar
1. Based on my experience singing beggar are someone or some people
sings who sings in bus because along my way from house to campus. I
always meet them. I through they are lees fortune than me. I always
felt pitied to them especially children singing beggar because their
place is not in bus, but in school to got a lot of knowledge and
sciences. therefore, I try to give them some money.
When I had an assignment from my lecturer to interview one of
social life, I decided to interview children singing beggar because I
was very interested in them. I wanted to know how their life, their
culture. their social, and their economic.
After doing interview, I had some information about them. In fact
the children singing beggars are lead by leader gang. They usually
think from one bus to another bus because of their leader instruction.
They have to get a lot of money, and them give all their money to the
leader, next they will get wages. Don't ever thing they get much money
because they only get ten percent. Besides, we don't know using of the
money, sometimes, the leader of gang often involved criminal act.
Now, I am in doubt when I meet in bus. I worry that the money that
I give while use for the bad thing by their leader. So, I seldom give
them money although I feel very sorry.

2. The culture or someone attitude can be changed by several subjects,
one of them because of mass media. In former times children are very
obedient to their parents. They used to obey whatever their parents
say. However, now there are so many culture from many different
countries come to their house. Of course, it brings different cultures
too. It can be watched by children every time they want.
Believe or not, it was changed children's attitude. Now days, the
children are brave to oppose their parent. Besides they imitated their
favorite figure/artist style. Start from clothes , accessories,
speaking style, etc.
Actually, mass media not only has negative influence but positive
influence. The children can give their opinion bravely because they
see it on mass media on TV. Besides, they can be wore creative because
they may imitated their favorite artist, so they try to be like their
favorite artist. Therefore, they always have motivation .
However, imitating another person is not good because the
children will not have them self personality.

My opinion about "of my friend Hector and my achilles heel" by Michael
T.Kaufman. Michael is a person who had a childhood friend named
Hector.
when they were children, they like to play together and became best
friend.
When they entered the junior school they went into different class.
Michael.
when junior school Michael is intellectually, because he in the SP
class,SP class for the children intelectuely, but Hector was not,may
Hector in the other class.
In high school Michael went to uptown to Bronx Science. Michael
think,Hector went to dowmtown to Comerence.Ater finish college Michael
would see hector in around the neighborhood. Some nights Michael took
the train,he look Hector,but Michael would pretend that see him,and
maybe he also pretend he didn't see me.
Michael have not seen him since I recognized.
Michael have at times thought of calling Hector,but kept from doing it
because how exactly does one apologize for thoughts that never expresed.

BILINGUALISM

Bilingualism is someone who can speak more than one languages.
in Indonesia is very much place, so many culture and languages from
other place. every place have the culture and languages which
different. the peoples in Indonesia have two languages, first is
national languages and second is dialect because dialect from other
country is different.
example: if you from Sundanese and you visit to Kalimantan island may
be you did not understand dialect it. if they speak with you used
dialect Kalimantan I think you only silent, but if they speak with you
used national language I think you will understand. so the peoples in
Indonesia have two languages or bilingualism, but is culture. it is
culture unique from Indonesia, because Indonesia is counrty island. so
must proud became peoples Indonesia, because Indonesia have many culture.
Now I have little understand English language, because I study with
English education, but my mother tongue is Sundanese, so I have
bilingualism.

Hijriyah is celebrated every Muharam first by Moslem's people.
Hijriyah is started from Muhammad prophet move to Madinah from Mecca
which called "hijriyah".At the time, it is determined as moslem new
year. sometimes Muharram first is good day for orphan because people
give them some money or anything, such as clothe, shoes, and food.
they believe if they give something to orphan they will be bless.

Hijriyah is same with Masehi consist of twelve months. however, masehi
started at 00.00 Am, hijriyah started at 18.00pm or when sunset
happens. the name of months hijriyah are:
1. Muharram
2. Safar
3. Rabiul awal
4. Rabiul akhir
5. Jumadil awal
6. Jumadil akhir
7. Rajab
8. Sya'ban
9. Ramadhan
10. Syawal
11. Dzulkaidah
12. Dzulhijah
There are seven days in a week. they are:
1. Al-ahad(sunday)
2. Al-itsnayn(monday)
3. Ats-Tsalaatsa( tuesday)
4. Al-Arba'aa(wednesda y)
5. Al-khamiis(thuesday )
6. Al-jum'aat(friyday)
7. As-sabt(saturday)

1. 1 Muharram: new year hijriyah
2. 10 Muharram: Asyura day. the day is considerate for death of "Imam
Husain bin Ali"
3. 12 rabiul awal: birth of Muhammad prophet
4. 27 rajab: "Isra Mi'raj"
5. Ramadahan: fasting month
6. 27 ramadhan: Nuzulul Qur'an
7. Ten of end ramandahan: Lailatul Qadar
8. I syawal: Idulfitri day
9. 9 Dzulhijah: Wukuf in arrafah for pilgrimage
10. 10 Dzulhijah: Idul adha day

In Indonesia there are several religions such as Islam, Kristen,
Hindu, and Budha. Indonesian uses masehi calendar as a national
calendar. As we know, starting day between masehi and hijriyah system
is different, it influences in determining important days for moslem
people. such as ramadhan first, idul fitri first and idul adha days.

the conclusion of the essay is hijriyah started from Muhammad prophet
move to Madinah from Mecca. moslem people should know abaout hijriyah
calendar and they should feel proud of it. they also celebrate
hijriyah days with move from the bad to good thing

PIGRIMAGE

Pilgrimage is an obligation for moslem people because it is a part of
five pillars of islam. however, this obligation happens when moslem
people has been ready for all, especially physic, mental, and
material. actually, pilgrimage has been already since Ibrahim prophet
period and to be continued until now.there are several myth about
pilgrimage in Indonesian. one of them is, if people do the bad things
before doing pilgrimage, they will get divine judgment in Mecca. on
the contrary, if people do the good deed they will goodness too.

There are three ways in doing pilgrimage. they are "Tamattu, Qiran,
and Ifrad" but in Indonesian often do "Tamattu" because they never
bring DAM (animal of qurban). if we do "Tamattu pilgrimage, the ways
that should be done as follow:
1. Ihram (special clothing worn during [pilgrimage to Mecca and say"
Labaika Allahuma Labaik, Labaika La Syarika Lka Labaik, Inal Hamda
Wani'mata Laka Walmulki La Syarika Laka"
2. Go to Mina and pray zuhur, ashar, magrib, isya, and shubuh with
"qasar" without "jama'"
3. On 9 Dzulhijah leave for Arafah slowly. over there pray zuhur and
ashar with "Jama takdim" and 'Qasar". besides do "Wukuf" and zikir and
pray as much as possible and face to Kiblat.
4. In the evening leave for Muzdalifah slowly while reading "Talbiah".
over there, pray magrib and isya with "jama'" and "qasar". after that
live until pray shubuh.
5. Before sunrise, leave for Mina with seven stones for 'jumrah
Aqobah" and the rest we can take it at Mina.
6. In Mina doing several things as follow:
a. Jumrah aqobah
b. slaughter DAM(Animal)
c. have your hair cut.
7. Then leave for Mecca and do "Tawaf Ifadah, and sa'i"
8. Back to mina on Nahar day.
9. Throw three jumrah during stay in mina after sunset. Start from
jumrah ula(first), jumrah wustha(middle) , and jumrah aqobah(finally)
10. Tawaf Wada before leave for our country(Indnesia)

In my opinion, pilgrimage needs strong faith and physic too because
there are so many activity that should be followed in doing
pilgrimage. Besides, we have to prepare much money for staying in
Mecca and also for people who are leaving in our house.
In addition, we have to follow the rule of pilgrimage rigtly, we will
be a "Mabrur pilgrimage" and avoid to sin.

I have some suggestion for all people who wants to do pilgrimage they
are as follows:
1. prepare your faith as story as possible
2. prepare your body as healthy as possible
3. prepare your money as much as possible
4. avoid a bad attitude before and after pilgrimage, so you will be
a "Mabrur pilgrimage"
5. follow the rule pilgrimage rightly
